Painting: a hobby

These custom pet portraits were designed as a tribute in remembrance of the beloved family members who had passed away. Each capturing the spirit of the pet's personality.

Although this specific set had blank backgrounds to match the theme of the client, the backgrounds for the portraits are usually painted with a color of the client's choice.

This portrait was created for an art swap with artist Christina Burri in which I painted her adorable feline friend, Tegan.

The goal was to capture Tegan's playful spirit while also keeping true to a realism-based portrait style.
